Dubai: UAE-based Speedy Comics Group has unveiled HIT Grading & Authentication, billed as the world’s first hybrid grading system combining artificial intelligence with human expertise, marking a major technological leap in the global collectibles and pop-culture industry.
Developed entirely in the UAE, the new system uses high-speed imaging and AI-driven data scoring, with final validation by professional graders, aiming to deliver faster, more consistent and transparent authentication of collectibles. The company said the technology sets a new global benchmark for accuracy and trust in grading.
The launch further strengthens Dubai’s positioning as a hub for cultural and technology-driven innovation. Speedy Comics Group recently received the Best Pop-Culture Ecosystem in the Middle East 2025 title, recognising its integrated approach spanning retail, grading, conventions and lifestyle experiences.
The company has also introduced the world’s first on-site grading facility at Dubai’s Time Square Center, allowing collectors to receive instant grading without shipping items overseas.
Founded by Dr Rashed Mohammed Zubair Al Farooq, Speedy Comics Group plans to expand the HIT Grading platform across the GCC, South Asia, Europe and North America.
