Yango Play has signed an agreement with Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) and Crunchyroll® to bring the world’s largest dedicated anime library to Yango Play subscribers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Under the deal, Yango Play subscribers now have access to hit anime titles including the dark fantasy Tower of God and Welcome to Demon School, Iruma kun! among many others, available with fresh Arabic subtitles, alongside Japanese and English audio options—all ad-free. Fans can also stream top titles from Crunchyroll on their TVs through the new Crunchyroll channel on Yango Play, featuring titles including Solo Leveling, one of the most popular series on Crunchyroll in 2024, in addition to Fire Force, Shangri-La Frontier, and The Rising of the Shield Hero via the Yango Play app, making anime more accessible—and cinematic—than ever before.
And this is just the beginning. Yango Play will expand its anime lineup throughout the year, unveiling more iconic series from Crunchyroll. Blockbuster hits like Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation are also set to join the platform in the coming months.
In addition, the deal brings to Yango Play some classic and fan favorite films from SPE’s robust and diverse library of content such as The Equalizer 2, Venom, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Blade Runner 2049, Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, The Equalizer, The Amazing Spider-Man, Django Unchained, The Social Network, Hancock, Bad Boys II and Bad Boys.
