CLAN encompasses Memories Events Management, The Builder’s Box, The Talent Hub, EGA Concepts, WJ Land Development, and Black Frog Studio – many sectors and activities. How can you have your finger in so many pieces and still coordinate them efficiently?
It’s a valid question, but it’s important to note that I don’t see this as “juggling” multiple ventures. Rather, it’s about synergy and shared values across all entities. Each entity under CLAN has the autonomy to lead in its specific sector, yet they’re all connected by a common purpose, trust, and creative alignment. That’s how we ensure efficiency.
And it all starts with mindset. Whether I’m overseeing a restaurant, a production studio, or an events platform, my core belief is to create experiences that matter.
Cross-functional collaboration is also crucial for us. It allows us to stay agile, move fast, and deliver at scale without compromising on originality or quality. Strong partnerships aren’t just external — they thrive within CLAN as well. We’ve cultivated a culture where ideas and support flow freely across all our companies. The name “CLAN” is not accidental. It embodies a community bound by shared values, where collaboration and loyalty are deeply ingrained. That spirit is the driving force behind everything we do.
No matter how large we grow, we remain true to the belief that “birds of a feather flock together,” and we’re proud that the same passion and mission resonate with every team member, regardless of their role.
Saudi Arabia is bustling with activity, and CLAN seems to have done its own expansion there. Why is the Kingdom the place to be at this point and how does it benefit companies, especially with the talk of the “Saudi Moment”?
For me, Saudi Arabia is more than just a strategic choice—it’s personal. I was born in the Kingdom, and it’s always been a part of my identity. Returning felt both natural and meaningful.
Saudi Arabia is at the forefront of a monumental transformation. Vision 2030 is reshaping the landscape, turning the nation into a hub of ambition, reinvention, and immense possibilities. Companies can thrive here by aligning with the country’s growth and energy.
I believe that CLAN’s deep understanding of Saudi culture allows us to connect authentically, not just as a business but as a cultural participant. The Kingdom stands for more than a market. It’s a movement that’s redefining the future of the region.
To be honest, the Kingdom seems to be working at two speeds: the breakneck pace of Vision 2030 and the hustle and bustle around it, but also the more traditional side. How can agencies navigate this landscape and still connect with the diversified Saudi population, which can’t be placed under one tentpole?
Agencies must first listen. Saudi Arabia is not a one-size-fits-all market, and understanding its diversity is key to effective communication.
Vision 2030 represents bold ambition, but the traditions and values that have shaped the nation for centuries remain deeply rooted. Successfully navigating this landscape requires agencies to tailor their messages and experiences to meet both of these realities — respecting the Kingdom’s rich heritage while embracing its dynamic future.
At CLAN, we adapt our strategies based on the maturity of the audience, regional sensitivities, and cultural contexts. We balance innovation with tradition to create meaningful connections.
To go back to Saudi audiences, and this is something many advertisers seem to ignore: there is a strong cultural and social heritage in different parts of the Kingdom. Is there a way to effectively engage with this diverse tapestry of people?
Saudi Arabia is a mosaic of regional cultures, dialects, and identities, each with its own rich history and traditions. Authentic engagement comes from a hyper-local approach.
We work closely with local talent and cultural voices to ensure our efforts are relevant and respectful of the diverse identities across the Kingdom. Understanding the subtle nuances of each region is critical to building long-term trust and ensuring our message resonates.
We have focused on building culturally aligned teams with deep local insight. A major priority for us has been integrating Saudi talent as the creativity and potential in every corner of the Kingdom are waiting to be unlocked.
CLAN’s subsidiaries have achieved many local and international accolades, pushing the boundaries of creativity and scale in the events industry. Tell us more about these achievements and how they impact viewers and target audiences alike.
