Hubb Media, a Dubai-based startup providing social aggregation and engagement software for websites and events, has announced its first major contract win outside the GCC for RBS 6 Nations Rugby Championships.
Chris Johnstone, CEO of Hubb Media says in a press statement: “We are delighted that our Social Hubb solution has been selected by the RBS 6 Nations, Rugby’s Greatest Championships to increase social engagement with website visitors. Our software allows the client to curate and display social media content from the tournament’s official channels, the six competing Nations’ official channels and fans throughout Europe using the #RBS6Nations.”
Jonathan McConnell, head of content at SOTIC, the digital agency that manages the RBS 6 Nations website adds: “Working with Hubb Media has been a great experience. Since launching at GITEX 2014, powering the events official social wall, Hubb Media have been encouraged by the both the volume and wide range of organizations looking to increase social engagement with visitors both on and offline. Johnstone adds that “organizations such as Dubai World Trade Centre, Global Village, The European Tour and 7 Days have recognized the importance of social engagement and the benefits of displaying social media content at events and on their websites”.
