Transformers, a Dubai-based specialist event supplier, has announced version 2.0 of the Social Mosa Instagram and Twitter application. Developed by Tangible Interaction, the app dynamically integrates Twitter and Instagram content to create generative animation. It periodically mosaics ingested tweets and Instagram pictures and videos – 30 posts a time – into logos and key messages, which can be branded and aired on AV screens at events. The app also comes with a ‘moderator’ tool that allows for filtering content before it’s aired. Transformers provides its clients with a report the next day based on a running tally of number of tweets, Instagram posts that are accepted or denied, plus totals.
The agency provides clients with most of the set up necessary to use the app including a custom app, hosting, computer to run the app, separate monitor app, iPad to run the monitor app, and even a host to filter incoming messages.
So far, clients include Bloomingdales Dubai, Emaar and Aival Youth Film Festival.
