Middle East-based job recruitment agency for the communications industry MCG Associates has announced the appointment of Kate Watson as director. Watson will lead the agency’s integrated communications team, w0rking with a range of international and big companies, as well as PR and marketing agencies, to bring talent into the Middle East.
She holds over four years’ experience in job recruitment in the region industry, joining from Fabric Recruitment, where she’s grown the database of agencies and companies, as well as of candidates in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Egypt, Qatar and Oman. Prior to moving to the region, Watson had spent a decade recruiting in the UK, during which she specialized in recruitment for the communications industry “and has since placed more than 250 candidates with some of MENA’s most prestigious PR agencies and brands,” said a statement by MCG Associates announcing the appointment.
MCG Asssociates operates across the GCC, its roster of clients having grown to include digital agencies, financial PR boutiques and multinationals in the region in four years. Watson’s appointment comes in line with the company’s ambitious expansion plans, which include a recent launch of candidate searches in the Far East, with plans to enter the US and South America in 2015.
