Dubai-based communication agency Face to Face has announced that it has won the Garmin – global provider of consumer, aviation, and marine technologies for the Global Positioning System – account, and has been charged with developing, for the bramd, a full launch strategy which includes full creative across outdoor, press, radio and online – media planning and buying are also included – by end of February 2014. The win follows a competitive review by Abdulla Mohammed Ibrahim General Trading (AMIT), the UAE-based distributor of Garmin, for the brand’s full communication strategy.
The immediate scope of work Face to Face will be undertaking includes the launch of the new Garmin Virb, a full HD action camera. The brief also includes public relations, which Face to Face has in recent years added to its repertoire of services.The remit also includes strategy for AMIT activity across the year, including an overhaul of the company website in addition to future Garmin product launches.
The win ramps the start of 2014 up a few notches for Face to Face, with the pace only gaining momentum with a number of new business wins already under their belt, as the agency has also been appointed as the full-service communication and creative strategy agency for Dubai-based property developer, Select Group. Face to Face will be charged with a full remit for Select Group, including communication and creative strategy that spans across print, outdoor, public relations and digital and full media planning and buying elements. Select Group’s portfolio includes development projects in the United Kingdom and mainland Europe.
