Ampersand, a global specialist marketing and talent consultancy, has been appointed by Etihad Airways to run and manage its first-ever marketing excellence academy.
The appointment will see Ampersand develop and deliver a training curriculum on all aspects of marketing and communication to help the Etihad Airways marketing team build on their existing skills.
The bespoke programme is made up of a series of stand-alone blended learning modules, which build to a cohesive whole.
The syllabus marries international best practice with contemporary practical examples.
At the end of the course, participants will be assessed and successful delegates will receive the ‘Etihad Airways Certificate of Marketing Excellence’.
Instigated by Tim Burnell, Etihad Airways Vice President Marketing, and led by Nasma Al Shamsi, Etihad Airways Manager Brand Marketing, the programme is designed to develop the expertise of marketing employees within Etihad Airways, as well as to boost and retain Emirati marketing talent, positioning Etihad as a premier choice, attracting employees from all around the UAE to join. In a statement, Burnell says: “We need the best marketing talent to be trained to the highest level to help us build the Etihad Airways brand, and we are delighted to be working with marketing training specialists Ampersand to develop our team’s skill sets further.”
