Global communications network Dentsu Aegis Network has announced the launch of Vizeum, a media buying agency, and the network’s fifth agency brand part of Aegis Media, in the MENA region.
The launch extends Vizeum’s products and services to 60 offices in 41 countries, its Middle East client roster already including Total, Hitachi, Pegasus Airlines and Calvin Klein. Headquartered in Dubai, Vizeum’s regional operation will be managed by Anouk Bondroit, who was previously integrated business director for Aegis MENA , and who has extensive experience in regional business development across the region, working with media agencies including Omnicom, Zenith Optimedia and SMG.
Speaking about the launch, Michael Nederlof, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network, Middle East and North Africa, said: “Vizeum’s client- centric approach, through the use of data, insights, strategy and innovation has seen them build business solutions for their clients in over 40 global markets, of which now have access to the Middle East and North Africa. With its own proprietary tools such as DecisionZ, Ecosystems and Dentsu Aegis Network’s CCS study, the agency will be able to offer its clients insights that far exceed the tools currently available in the region.”
Meanwhile, Bondroit added: “We are launching Vizeum in the Middle East and North Africa to help brands move away from touch points and exposure, in favour of research, insight and understanding that will help build sustainable consumer relationships between the brands and consumers. Our clients will also benefit from the increased buying power our newly formed global network can offer.”
Vizeum joins Carat, Dentsu, iProspect, Isobar and Posterscope as part of the Dentsu Aegis Network in the Middle East and North Africa. Worldwide, the agency was initially launched in 2003, and is a global network with more than 1,100 people in 40 countries.
