BPG Bates, the regional advertising, design and events and activation agency headquartered in Dubai, has been appointed by Continental, the German tire manufacturer and international automotive supplier for the MENA region.
The appointment, which comes at the end of a month long pitch process involving four agencies, will see the agency develop through the line campaigns to build the brand across the region and handle all aspects of its marketing communications.
Continental is relocating responsibility for marketing in the region from Hanover, Germany to Dubai as a demonstration of the significance the MENA region has for the tire manufacturer.
Dirk Rockendorf, head of marketing MENA, says in a press statement, ‘‘we are very pleased to have chosen BPG Bates from a strong candidate list. They showed an excellent understanding of our needs and we look forward to a long and fruitful partnership”.
