Ahmed Mohammed, Copywriter, Leo Burnett ME #30under30
I was an architect.
I was not imagining that I would work in an advertising agency.
I am a survivor.
I am not a fake person.
I shall be more open.
I shall not be overly diplomatic.
I like it when I find a different way to solve common problems.
I dislike it when people judge things without any clue.
My biggest ambition is to make a real impact on people's lives.
My biggest worry is waking up one day and realizing that time has passed, and I am still in the same place.
I am most proud of my journey from Riyadh to Sudan, to Cairo, to Dubai.
I am a bit ashamed that I had to work with some clients whose values I disagree with.
Looking back, probably I should have made different choices.
Looking back, probably I should not have doubts regarding myself in many situations.
It all fell apart when a war took place in my country and my family had to leave our home.
Things made sense when I decided to move to Dubai.
Eventually, things will end at a point where everything started.
Eventually, things will not change unless we change.
Someone once advised me that cruelty is a sign of weakness and insecurity, while kindness is a sign of strength.
I once advised someone that they should never care about how people think about them; they should do the right thing and move on.
If I had a superpower, it would be flying.
My superpower in real life is my strong state of mind.
The word I use most is "TMAM," which means "okay."
The word I dislike most is "Arabization."
This too shall pass…
My most treasured passion is to help people.
People should be more unified.
People should be less competitive.
I wish to thank my father.
