Dubai will extend its New Year’s Eve celebrations beyond the traditional one-night event, with Emaar confirming that festivities across Downtown Dubai will run from December 31 to January 7.
Emaar said the celebration will take place across several landmark locations, including Burj Khalifa, Burj Khalifa Lake and the Dubai Mall promenade. The company described the upcoming programme as “a stage of extraordinary wonder” and “a celebration on an unprecedented scale.”
Burj Park will again operate as a paid viewing area, offering controlled access, views of the fireworks, laser shows and live performances. Entry to Burj Park requires advance online ticketing, priced at AED 950 plus VAT for adults and AED 550 plus VAT for children aged 5 to 12. Children under 5 may enter for free, but must still be registered for access badges.
This year, Burj Park will feature a new collaboration with Frontstage, a group company of Red Chilies Entertainment, the production house founded by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. According to Emaar, the partnership will bring Bollywood-themed performances and family-focused activities to the venue, alongside food stalls and children’s workshops.
Emaar Founder Mohamed Alabbar said the city would “transform into a stage of extraordinary wonder,” adding that the event aims to reflect Dubai’s “spirit, creativity and ambition.”
A parade featuring floats, performers and large puppets will also move through Downtown Dubai as part of the extended celebrations. Emaar said the full programme remains undisclosed but noted that it will include live-streamed elements intended for global audiences.
The company described the event as a multi-sensory experience that will showcase Dubai’s past, present and future.
Tickets for Burj Park are now available through the official event website.
