In the third quarter of 2017, Nielsen conducted an online survey of Twitter users in Saudi Arabia in order to better understand their passions and interests. For each passion/interest, the study explored Twitter users’ attitudes, behaviors and preferences – as well as the role Twitter plays in that context. Those surveyed were of both genders, aged 16-54, and topics included a variety of interests from football and music to fashion and dining.
Whether it’s a game, transfer day, or news about players, 82 percent of people on Twitter are interested in football.
