PHD UAE has recruited Anna Ahtiainen, previously the director of analytics at Google EMEA, for the role of senior director – marketing science. In this capacity, Ahtiainen will use her data analysis capabilities to inform and enhance clients’ strategies, as well as progress their use of insights-driven marketing solutions. A self-proclaimed data geek and analytics enthusiast, Ahtiainen has more than ten years of experience in digital media.
Speaking on the appointment, PHD UAE’s managing director, Luca Allam, says in a statement: “Anna is the embodiment of the data-driven experts PHD is built on and will continue to target. We are part of an evolving industry where Insights and application are imperative to delivering stronger and more effective campaign outcomes, the very skills we look forward to having Anna apply to her work at PHD.”
PHD Lebanon, which launched earlier this year, has appointed Hiba Madi as manager of planning for its growing team. She brings with her more than five years of experience across the Levant region, having previously served as PR executive, social media specialist, and designer for vertical media services. Madi will lead on the planning for several Beirut-based accounts as well as the agency’s top F&B accounts in Lebanon and Iraq.
