Over 45 CEOs from PR agencies around the world gathered in Dubai for the Worldcom PR Group EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and AP (Asia Pacific) regional meeting on October 16 and 17 at The Address in Dubai Marina.
Patrik Schober, the new Chairman of the board of Worldcom PR Group EMEA and Todd Lynch, managing director of Worldcom PR Group chaired the full day sessions. Aida Al Busaidy, senior manager, Stakeholder Communication of DTCM, was one of the top speakers. She presented DTCM’s advocacy strategy and elaborated on the #MyDubai initiative.
Majlis PR and Events, an active member of Worldcom PR Group, headed by its CEO Frederic Montin, organized the meetings and led the event which was held for the first time in Dubai. The topics of discussion included “Big data and its usage in PR and trends in online media”, which highlighted the growing power of digital communications.
Schober said: “Digital and social media have elevated the conversation between brands and their audiences to a whole new level. Done right, it can lead to powerful relationships between brands and their customers, employees, shareholders”.
