Du’s National Day campaign celebrates the UAE’s diversity

As part of its UAE National Day celebration, du sets up seven blue doors at prominent locations such as Marina Mall – Abu Dhabi, Global Village, Al Majaz – Sharjah, Ripe Market – Zaabeel Park, Dubai, Fujeirah City center, Mall of the Emirates and Al Manar Mall – RAK.

Visitors who walked in through the doors were greeted by interactive screens with engaging, culture-based audiovisual activities and won prizes for participating in activities showcasing their familiarity with the UAE. The results of the activation were captured in a two-minute video.

Hala Badri, executive vice-president of Brand and Communications, du, says in a statement: “On the occasion of the UAE’s 44th National Day, we are thrilled to showcase why #UAEisHome to the multitude of nationalities that have fallen in love, started families and built their lives right here. Our aim this year is to reflect the warmth and generosity felt by those who have just arrived here and those who have experienced continued success. This is the first time that we have come up with such an innovative yet engaging campaign that talks straight to the heart of the people. We hope the video also inspires everyone to share their personal reasons why #UAEisHome on du’s social media platforms.”
