To warn against texting and driving, here’s what Volkswagen did

This February, phone usage in traffic was banned in Sweden. Despite the ban, the number of car crashes didn’t decrease. To contribute to this issue, Volkswagen Sweden worked with Nord DDB to raise awareness through “Crashed Cases”regarding the risk imposed by texting while driving.

Volkswagen made 153 phone covers, which is the number of crashes that happened after the ban, from the wreck of the cars that were involved in these crashes.

Each case costs around 70$ and the profits go to  Trafikskadefonden which will help rehabilitate the injured individuals involved in these car crashes.
