Initiative MENA has appointed Amal Al Homosany as general manager of its Egypt operation. In her new role, Homosany’s primary focus will be to lead Egypt’s operations, evolve the product offering and maximize growth opportunities in the market. Given her background in digital media, she will play an integral role in promoting full digital integration to the forefront of the agency’s offering. She will report to Riham El Batanouny, managing director, Egypt.
Commenting on the appointment, El Batanouny, says in a statement: “ We are quite excited to have Amal as part of our team. Amal’s robust experience fits perfectly with our plans to develop a truly integrated service across multiple disciplines.”

For me a key success indicator will be utilizing the enhanced offerings to continuously meet the growing challenges within our clients’ industries”
Al Homosany began her career at Universal Media, where she handled strategic and tactical planning for a large number of local and multinational clients including Cadbury Adams, L’Oreal, Exxon Mobil, MasterCard & Ahram Beverages, among others. She joins Initiative from her role as General Manager for Aegis Media (Carat) in Egypt, where she launched the setup and integration of the company into the local market, and set strategic objectives in terms of products offered, revenues, people management and growth and acquisitions.
