FleishmanHillard Middle East has appointed its first senior hire to lead a new agency practice dedicated to social and digital. Jared Carneson, regional digital director, FleishmanHillard Middle East and global lead for social innovation, joined in April and will be working with the team to embed digital into the agency’s core, as FleishmanHillard continues to expand its offering to clients and grow its presence in the region.
A strategist in practice and a creative at heart, Carneson has spent the past five years building the digital and creative business units in FleishmanHillard South Africa. He has been responsible for creating the team to its now 20+ staff and a client roster including Barclays Africa, Dulux, Philips, Xbox, Microsoft, Mini, Life Healthcare, and Dettol.
In his new role, Carneson will manage the broader FleishmanHillard agency labs and intelligence streams while also participating in the agency’s global creativity leadership and the global crisis track.
