After announcing the expert committee, Product of the Year Lebanon Awards, the only prestigious award renowned worldwide for rewarding innovation in the consumer-goods sector launched its 8th edition, filled with enthusiasm from consumers and companies. The categories are voted solely by consumers, through an independent survey reflecting the consumers’ voice. The 2018 Edition of Product of the Year Lebanon was held on the 28th of March at B by Elefteriades, in Aishti Seaside in a festive setting.
The 8th edition witnessed considerable innovations across the participating categories, reaffirming the importance of brand creativity. Product of the Year involves a nation-wide consumer survey conducted by Nielsen, as face-to- face interviews across Lebanon. The survey findings are based on three parameters: Innovation, Attractiveness & Purchase Intent.
Philippe Gelder, president of Vote Product of the Year worldwide said, “If consumers perceive and appreciate innovation, they will make your products profitable and sustainable. Innovation is the only ingredient to guarantee brands sustainability”.
Among the participating product producers were: Unilever, Procter and Gamble, Food and Drug Corporation, Ets. Antoine Massoud and others.
