On April 2-5, HORECA Lebanon, Lebanese specialist Hospitality Services’ annual business event, will once again gather hotels, restaurants, cafés and other industry players, around important issues of the moment.
The conference (happening at the Seaside Arena in Beirut) is themed “For a Better Industry”. It will emphasize various activities that aid in upgrading waste management strategies, encourage entrepreneurship, and help sustain local producers.
The exhibition will also feature a Hospitality Salon Culinaire, various competitions (Junior Chef, Bed-making, Art of Service, Lebanese Barista, Lebanese Bartenders…), the Atelier Gourmand, a national Extra Virgin Olive Oil Contest, along with its Annual Hospitality Forum, among other things.
HORECA (that stands for Hotel, Restaurant, Café) first started in 1994 and has since branched out to KSA, Kuwait and Jordan. It features international chefs and experts, mixologists, industry leaders, and is a gateway for the youth to show their skills and talents.
Last year, the event’s number of attendants surpassed 18,000, with 350 exhibitors (89% of which are national and 11% international).
