Beirut Digital District will host “Blockchain Technology: An Opportunity to Scale your Business” by the Lebanese League of Women in Business (LLWB, a socio-economic association for empowering business women) on May 25 and “3D Modeling and Printing” by The Little Engineer (a science, tech, engineering and mathematics education institution) on June 8 at; e-commerce consultancy Kareem Audi will present “Online Advertising: Less Guessing, More Results” on May 25 at Wakilni Hub, Doura.
Scaling up businesses with blockchains
“Blockchain Technology: An Opportunity to Scale your Business” is a seven-hour workshop by Hanane Boujemi (project manager of Hivos’ Internet Governance Program MENA) that aims to provide business managers and executives with a general idea on blockchain technology, ways to integrate it within a business and practical cases using this technology. Participants will also receive a mini toolkit for reference to put blockchain technology into practice in their firms.
Transitioning from the digital to the physical world
“3D Modeling and Printing” is a three-hour workshop on how to design, build and 3D print models. The Little Engineer will take a step-by-step approach with the attendants to demonstrate the process of 3D printing, starting from the digital tasks to materialization.
Less guessing, more results
“Online Advertising: Less Guessing, More Results” is a hands-on three hours workshop on basic and advanced techniques for Facebook and Instagram ads optimization. The workshop focuses on creating successful ads from concept to actually creating the ad and how to properly optimize it for good results by demonstrating in detail how to target the right audience.
