Back for yet another edition, the MENA Effie Awards celebrates marketing effectiveness by recognizing “ideas that work”. Hosted by Communicate’s parent company Mediaquest, the awards took place on November 9 at The Pavilion – Armani Hotel in Dubai.
The excitement in the air was palpable as participants eagerly awaited their names to be called. This year, the 23 categories included three new categories – Healthcare Services, Seasonal Marketing and Branded Content – which proved to be highly competitive with two Golds being awarded in each of the latter two categories.
The four most awaited awards of the night are:
Grand Prix: “The Good Note” by J. Walter Thompson Beirut for Bou Khalil Supermarché
Most Effective Advertising Office of the Year: FP7/DXB
Most Effective Media Office of the Year: Starcom Dubai
Most Effective Agency Network of the Year: FP7 MENA
