Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards 2016 announces winners

The seventh edition of the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards has announced its winners with the Grand Prix going to “Jus des Idées” from Singaporean production company Threesixzero Productions. More than 290 guests traveled from all over the world to the film metropolis of Cannes to take part in the exclusive awards ceremony. The festival is the largest one of this kind in the world. An international jury of top-flight experts has selected the 177 best submissions. You can find the complete winner’s list on the website of the festival.

The Grand Prix Film 2016

The Grand Prix winner image film, “Jus des Idées”, which has been produced for Restaurant André in Singapore, has also been awarded three Gold Dolphins in the categories Corporate Image Films, Marketing Communication – B2C,and Informational Films. “A film does what it does best. In a subtle way, the spectator is introduced to the secrets of a sophisticated taste. At the same time, he learns of the protagonist’s uncompromising attitude. This work arouses sensitive feelings and emotions in a masterly way. With its excellent graphic and a magnificent cinematography, one can nearly smell the preparation of the products. In one word: inspiring!” says the Jury President.

The best production company

The Edge Picture Company from London, Great Britain swept the board during the Awards Gala with its eight Dolphins. The five Silver,  two Gold, and one Black Trophy made it the most successful production company of 2016, earning it the ninth Trophy, the Blue Dolphin.

Winners from the Middle East

Dubai Land Department won a Silver Dolphin in Corporate videos – Fairs, Shows, Events, Conference Openers. Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s documentary, A Passage of Courage received a Silver Trophy in Online Media – Corporate Videos category. The most actual topic was brought to the festival by Alhurra Television with their report, Delusional Paradise: Arraqah Screams, which also won a Silver in its category TV Documentaries & Reports Current Affairs, Human Concerns & Social Issues.
