Since its launch in August 2015, Melbourne-based agency PENSO hired its general manager, Darius LaBelle, as general manager in November and has now appointed its first account director, Alexander Robertson. Both, LaBelle and Robertson, are ex-Ogilvy employees. While LaBelle headed OgilvyOne as general manager before joining PENSO, Robertson was account director and director of digital production at the agency.
In his new role, Robertson will manage existing clients across the UAE and help grow the agency’s business in the Gulf alongside LaBelle, who says, “We are extremely excited to have Alex on the team. Having come from large networks, like many of us at PENSO, combined with his background from the US and the UAE he will help us create further value for our partners. We will be able to leverage his skills across digital strategy and creation to drive the kind of iterative, agile, ongoing delivery that PENSO is known for.”
PENSO is a cross between a management consultancy, advertising and digital agency and works with closely with a range of Emirates Group businesses, global life assurance company Providence, IMG Worlds, and aviation business software provider Mercator. Since opening the Dubai Design District (d3), the agency has started working with a number of other clients across the region
